Model Graciousness - Visible Child

Model Graciousness - Visible Child

This is one you're going to want to bookmark and read again, and again, and again. Robin Einzig shakes out our deepest fears and politely reintroduces them to us, and kindly explains that we should disregard them.

"What do I do when I'm not in control?" She asks for us.

Her answer: Model Graciousness. Model the behavior you wish to see. Take the long view. Let the child choose who s/he wants to become, and when.

"Children do not learn from what we say.  They don’t even learn from what we do.  They learn from who we are.  And they’re always watching."

I know. Chills, right?

Take a few quiet moments and read it all at The Visible Child.
